To show support for the United Nations’ (UN) 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence campaign, the façade of Parliament House will be illuminated in orange on Tuesday 25 November. As a bright and optimistic colour, orange represents a future free from violence against women and girls.
The campaign launches on 25 November – the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. It calls on people to wear the colour orange and take action to end violence against women and girls.
