Kerry Reed-Gilbert's Looking glass

‘Kerry’s totem is the (Kuracca) white cockatoo — the messenger. Just as her writing allows her to be a messenger and address issues relevant to Aboriginal people today, so too with this exhibition of photographs Kerry points to the significance of the land in this bigger story.’ – Barbie Robinson, Catalogue essay, Spirit of Country, PhotoAccess, Canberra, July 2014.

She was co-founder and chairperson of the First Nations Australian Writers Network and a Treasurer and a Director of the Us Mob Writing Group.
