The committee reports to the Senate on the following matter considered at its meeting on 22 March 2011.

Question time - temporary order

The Senate adopted modified rules for question time as a temporary order on 25 November 2009 and has subsequently extended its operation on two occasions (on 28 October 2010 and 1 March 2011. The current order expires on 24 March 2011.

The committee recommends that the temporary order providing for modified rules for question time continue in operation until 18 August 2011.
