2.33The Committee recommends that the House of Representatives resolve, pursuant to section 18(7) of the Public Works Committee Act 1969, that it is expedient to carry out the following proposed works: Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation – Black Mountain Greenhouse Redevelopment.

3.30The Committee recommends that the House of Representatives resolve, pursuant to section 18(7) of the Public Works Committee Act 1969, that it is expedient to carry out the following proposed works: Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation—Australian Centre for Disease Preparedness—Stage 1 Part Life Refit.

4.23The Committee recommends that the House of Representatives resolve, pursuant to section 18(7) of the Public Works Committee Act 1969, that it is expedient to carry out the proposed work: Australian Taxation Office—Proposed Fit-out of Leased Premises, Levels 5 to 10, 152 Wharf Street, Brisbane.

4.25The Committee recommends that the Australian Taxation Office continues to enhance and refine their change management process, ensuring that it incorporates robust staff consultation procedures for the design and delivery stages of proposed works to effectively capture all affected staff.

5.32The Committee recommends that the House of Representatives resolve, pursuant to section 18(7) of the Public Works Committee Act 1969, that it is expedient to carry out the following proposed work: Services Australia—Proposed Fit-out of Leased Premises at 90 Crown Street, Wollongong, New South Wales.

6.29The Committee recommends that the House of Representatives resolve, pursuant to section 18(7) of the Public Works Committee Act 1969, that it is expedient to carry out the proposed work: Attorney-General’s Department—Proposed Fit-out of Existing Leased Premises at 3-5 National Circuit, Barton, Australian Capital Territory

6.31The Committee recommends that the Department exercises its two lease renewal options at the expiration of its current lease on 3-5 National Circuit in 2036 to maximise the value for money to the Commonwealth of the proposed works, unless significant considerations prevent such an extension.

7.33The Committee recommends that the House of Representatives resolve, pursuant to section 18(7) of the Public Works Committee Act 1969, that it is expedient to carry out the proposed work: Department of Home Affairs—Yongah Hill Immigration Detention Centre Hawk Compound Redevelopment project.

7.35The Committee recommends that the Department of Home Affairs ensures that current staff involved in the day-to-day operations of the Yongah Hill Immigration Detention Centre are consulted on the proposed works and provided an opportunity to provide feedback on the proposed design.

7.36The Committee recommends that the Department of Home Affairs includes a full accounting of its staff consultation process for the proposed works in the post implementation report of the project.
