Inquiry into development of high technology industries in regional Australia based on bioprospecting and bioprocessing

On 4 October 2000, the Hon Warren Truss MP, Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry asked the Committee to inquire into the development of high technology industries in regional Australia based on bioprospecting.

Submissions, addressing the inquiry terms of reference, are invited from organisations and individuals interested in placing evidence before the committee.

The advertised closing date for the receipt of submissions was 28 February 2001 but the committee will accept late submissions. Persons seeking to make a late submission should contact the Committee Secretariat. Send your submission by Aff.Reps@aph.gov.au or in writing (with a copy on disk, if possible). Submissions should be prepared with reference to the guidelines on How to make a submission.
