Australian Crime Commission Act 2002,
Crimes Act 1914 and
Criminal Code Act 1995 in relation to child sex tourism offences, by: relocating existing offences (currently in the Crimes Act) to the Criminal Code; creating new grooming, procuring and preparatory offences; making penalties consistent with like offences in the Criminal Code; introducing new offences relating to Australians overseas accessing child pornography or child abuse material; and providing for forfeiture of such material. Also makes consequential amendments to the
Surveillance Devices Act 2004 and
Telecommunications (Interception and Access) Act 1979.
