    Amends: 9 Acts in relation to financial management provisions for certain Special Accounts;
    Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988
    to align it with the existing administrative practice of compensation due to eligible employees being paid either through Commonwealth employers or direct to employees;
    Financial Management and Accountability Act 1997
    to extend the modified application of the Act which currently applies to intelligence or security agencies to law enforcement agencies that undertake sensitive activities;

    Public Service Act 1999

    Establishes a financial asset fund (the Future Fund) to meet the Government’s unfunded superannuation liabilities by 2020 using amounts credited to a Special Account (sourced from previous realised cash surpluses and proceeds of any future assets sales) and the transfer of financial assets. Also establishes a Board of Guardians to administer the Fund and the Future Fund Management Agency to provide executive and operational support to the Board.
