Summary

Amends the

Broadcasting Services Act 1992
to: exempt remote area, racing service licensees and licensees outside the Broadcasting Services Band from the minimum local content requirement; and amend provisions relating to certain changes in ownership and control of a licence known as a ‘trigger event’.
