Summary

Amends the

Crimes Act 1914
to: allow the transfer of information so that inter-jurisdictional DNA matching can occur; permit prison officers to be present, subject to the relevant State or Territory law, while a forensic procedure is being carried out on a suspect; and correct drafting errors relating to DNA profile matching.
