Summary

Amends the:

Defence Force Discipline Act 1982
to: create the statutory positions of the Director of Military Prosecutions and the Registrar of Military Justice; provide for the remuneration of the existing statutory position of the Chief Judge Advocate to be determined by the Remuneration Tribunal; and remove the roles and functions currently given to convening authorities (these roles and functions will be distributed between the Director of Military Prosecutions and the Registrar of Military Justice); and
Defence Act 1903
to create the statutory position of Inspector-General of the Australian Defence Force.
