Summary

Introduced with the Health and Other Services (Compensation) Care Charges (Amendment) Bill 2014, the bill amends the:

Aged Care Act 1997
to remove the workforce supplement from the list of primary supplements provided for by the Subsidy Principles;
Aged Care (Transitional Provisions) Act 1997
to make consequential amendments;
Health and Other Services (Compensation) Act 1995
to enable the recovery of past home care costs under the compensation payment reduction scheme; and
Healthcare Identifiers Act 2010
to allow the collection, use and disclosure of information, including healthcare identifiers, for specified aged care purposes.
