Introduced with the Higher Education Endowment Fund Bill 2007, the bill amends the
Future Fund Act 2006
to extend the Future Fund Board’s functions in relation to the Higher Education Endowment Fund (HEEF); and the
Income Tax Assessment Act 1997
to make gifts of money to the HEEF tax deductible.
