Summary
Amends the
Customs Tariff Act 1995
to: reflect changes in technology in the oil and gas exploration industries; reclassify paraquat dichloride with an added emetic as duty free; extend the operation of the South Pacific Regional Trade and Economic Co-operation Agreement (Textile, Clothing and Footwear Provisions) Scheme to 31 December 2011; amend the country codes for Poland and Wake Island; increase the rates of customs duty payable on certain US originating alcohol and tobacco products in accordance with the Consumer Price Index.
