Introduced with the Road Transport Charges (Australian Capital Territory) Amendment Bill 2002, the bill amends the

Interstate Road Transport Charge Act 1985
to ensure that an automatic annual adjustment is applied to the level of charges for vehicles registered under the Federal Interstate Registration Scheme, by reference to the percentage amount determined for the purposes of the charge under the
Road Transport Charges (Australian Capital Territory) Act 1993
