Consistent with the ongoing community transmission of COVID-19, there are currently three cases in Parliament House.
People who have had potential exposure have been contacted and tested as appropriate.
However, this serves as a good reminder to follow the medical advice while in the building.
We also remind you about the important building safeguards as mentioned in the Presiding Officers’ Statement of 27 January 2022:
- Continue to follow strict COVID-safe hygiene and physical distancing requirements
- Do not attend the building if you are feeling unwell
- Anybody with any symptoms consistent with COVID-19 must not enter the building. They must remain at home and follow ACT Health advice
- Use the masks and sanitiser that are available throughout the building for your use.
