Sanctions imposed on Russia in response to aggression against Ukraine – how are they imposed under Australia’s sanctions laws?

On 23 February 2022 the Government first announced new sanctions to be imposed on Russian individuals, organisations and banks in response to Russia’s recent aggression against Ukraine, with further sanctions imposed following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
