On 8 February 2017 the Senate established a select committee to be known as the Select Committee on a National Integrity Commission to inquire and report on the establishment of a national integrity commission.

The committee is to inquire and report by 15 August 2017.

On 9 August 2017, the Senate granted an extension to report by 13 September 2017.

PLEASE NOTE: The Select Committee on the National Integrity Commission has completed its work. With the tabling of the committee’s final report on 13 September 2017, the committee has formally ceased to exist.
