On 25 June 2014, the Senate resolved to establish the Select Committee into Health to inquire into and report on health policy, administration and expenditure and provide a final report to the Senate on 20 June 2016.
The committee has already considered a number of topics within its terms of reference and its interim reports can be found at information about the inquiry. The committee is currently examining a range of topics within health, including:
- Public hospital funding
- Big data
- Indigenous health
The committee welcomes submissions on these topics, as well as general submissions on the committee’s terms of reference.
