Family Assistance Legislation Amendment (Child Care Measures) Bill (No. 2) 2014

On 26 June 2014 the Senate referred the provisions of the Family Assistance Legislation Amendment (Child Care Measures) Bill (No. 2) 2014 (the Bill) for inquiry and report by 28 August 2014. The committee has agreed that submissions should be received by 25 July 2014.

The Bill proposes amendments to the A New Tax System (Family Assistance) Act 1999 to maintain the child care benefit income thresholds at the amounts applicable as at 30 June 2014, for a further three years.
