This inquiry will examine the conduct of debate and the adequacy of the standing orders in facilitating debate during the consideration in detail of the main appropriation bill.
The committee is examining the adequacy of provisions for nursing mothers in the House of Representatives and will hold a roundtable discussion with members of the House on 12 November 2015.
Throughout the 44th Parliament, this ongoing reference will review and make recomendations for amendments to the House of Representatives Standing and Sessional Orders.
