Inquiry into the Food Standards Amendment (Truth in Labelling - Palm Oil) Bill 2011

On 7 July 2011 the Selection Committee, requested the Committee to review the Food Standards Amendment (Truth in Labelling - Palm Oil) Bill 2011 (refer to the third reading version – the Senate amended the Bill).

The Committee is accepting submissions to the inquiry from individuals and organisations. In June 2011, the Senate Community Affairs Legislation Committee completed its inquiry into the first reading of the Bill and the House Economics Committee will consider submissions made to this prior inquiry, both in the 42nd and 43rd Parliaments.

The Committee tabled the report on Monday, 19 September 2011.
