Note: The Act received Royal Assent on the
27 June 2002, (ie two days after its introduction into the
Parliament) and became Act No. 41, 2002.
Purpose
Introduced with
the International Criminal Court (Consequential Amendments) Bill
2002, the Bill enables Australian to comply with its international
obligations on ratification of the Rome Statue of the International
Criminal Court.(1)
