A career at Parliament House

Gina Hall taking a group of visitors on a behind-the-scenes tour of Parliament House.

After long and successful careers as a school teacher and Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) officer, Gina Hall began a third career as a Guide (now called Visitor Services Officer) leading school groups and visitor tours around ‘the House on the Hill’.

Twenty years on, Gina still believes she has found the perfect job.

‘I loved my time as a teacher and thoroughly enjoyed serving in the Air Force, but I have found my niche as a Visitor Services Officer – it is so me! I always remember a RAAF friend saying “Fancy paying Gina to talk!”... and he was right!’
