Inquiry into Australia's Maritime Strategy

On 27 August 2002 the Minister for Defence asked the Committee to inquire into the role of Maritime strategy in Australia's defence policy. The inquiry aims to develop a comprehensive understanding of 'maritime strategy' and its place within Australia's broader military strategy and defence policy.

Written submissions are invited from organisations and individuals interested in placing evidence before the Committee. Submissions are to be sent to the Committee Secretariat by Friday, 25 October 2002. Submissions are to be prepared with reference to the guidelines on making a submission.
