Inquiry into the Conduct of the 2004 Federal Election and Matters Related Thereto

On 2 December 2004 the Special Minister of State, Senator the Hon Eric Abetz, asked the Committee to inquire into the Conduct of the 2004 Federal Election and Matters Related Thereto.

The Committee invites interested persons and organisations to make submissions addressing the terms of reference. The initial closing date for submissions was by 31 March 2005 - anyone now wanting to make a contribution to the inquiry should contact the Committee Secretariat.

In order to facilitate electronic publishing of submissions, the Committee would prefer them to be emailed to jscem@aph.gov.au or sent on disk or CD-ROM to the Committee Secretariat in Microsoft Word^® or Portable Document Format (PDF).
