  Location: north-western Melbourne; it includes the centres of Attwood, Broadmeadows, Bulla, Campbellfield, Coolaroo, Craigieburn, Dallas, Gladstone Park, Greenvale, Jacana, Kalkallo, Meadow Heights, Mickleham, Oaklands Junction, Roxburgh Park, Somerton, Sunbury, Tullamarine, Westmeadows, Wildwood and Yuroke.
  Area: 504 sq km (approx.).
  Electors enrolled: 101 314 (at 21.8.10).
  Industries: automobile manufacturing, food processing, farming, horse studs, textiles, clothing, transport, telecommunications, airline industries, wine production and service industries.
  State electorates: Calwell includes the Victorian Legislative Assembly electorate of Yuroke, and parts of Broadmeadows and Macedon.
