Senate Select Committee on Fuel and Energy

Seeking new submissions

The Senate Select Committee on Fuel and Energy is considering the challenges of ensuring secure, reliable and affordable fuel and energy supplies in an environmentally sustainable way and would like to hear your views. In particular the committee is considering the following:

  • the existing set of federal and state government regulatory powers as they relate to fuel and energy products;

  • taxation arrangements on fuel and energy products;

  • the role and future potential of current and emerging sources of fuel and energy; and

  • domestic energy supply and the domestic oil/gas exploration and refinement industry.
