Public hearing with the Interim Office of the Gene Technology Regulator and Genetic Manipulation Advisory Committee.

The House of Representatives Standing Committee on Primary Industries and Regional Services will hold its final public hearing for its inquiry into primary producer access to gene technology on
Wednesday, 5 April in Committee Room 2R1 in Parliament House, Canberra from 5.00 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.

The committee, chaired by FranBailey, MP, will question representatives from the Interim Office of the Gene Technology Regulator and Genetic Manipulation Advisory Committee (GMAC) at the public hearing. The hearing will be broadcast on Channel 10 on the House monitoring system and on frequency 98.3 on the radio. A webcast will be accessible at:

This hearing continues one held on 15 March, at which the committee was unable to complete its questioning of the Office and GMAC.
