Terms of Reference

The Committee has been asked to inquire into the assessment of the health and community costs associated with a disability as part of the health test undertaken for the Australia visa processing.

The Committee shall:

Submitters may wish to refer to Schedule 4 of the Migration Regulations 1994, which specifies the health requirement for visa applicants and outlines the considerations that apply for applicants with a ‘disease or condition’.
