Terms of Reference

On 5 September 2006, the Joint Standing Committee on Treaties adopted the reference below from the Minister for Foreign Affairs. Following the formal adoption of the amendment to the London Protocol on 2 November 2006 the treaty text and NIA were tabled in both houses of Parliament on 6 December 2006.

The Committee invites interested persons and organisations to make submissions addressing the terms of reference by Wednesday 4 October 2006. Anyone now seeking to make a submission should contact the Committee Secretariat. Please refer to our brochure called preparing a submission for more information.
