In order to facilitate the timely implementation of the United
Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (New York, 13 December 2006) (the Agreement) the Committee resolved to report its
recommendation on the treaty to the Parliament immediately and will provide a
more detailed report on the provisions of the Agreement at a later date.

The Treaties Committee supports the United Nations
Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and recommends that
binding treaty action be taken. |
