Inquiry into Australia's Trade and Investment Relations with Asia, the Pacific and Latin America

On 4 June 2008 the then Minister for Trade, The Hon Simon Crean MP, asked the Committee to inquire into and report on Australia's Trade and Investment Relations with Asia, the Pacific and Latin America.

On 13 December 2010 the Minister for Trade, The Hon Dr Craig Emerson MP, re-referred the inquiry with original terms of reference to the Committee. The Minister also asked that the Committee take into consideration the review of Australia's future trade policy framework.

The Committee invites interested persons and organisations to make submissions addressing the terms of reference. Please refer to our brochure called preparing a submission for more information.

In order to facilitate electronic publishing of submissions, the Committee would prefer them to be emailed to jscfadt@aph.gov.au or sent on disk or CD-ROM to the Committee Secretariat in Microsoft Word® or Portable Document Format (PDF).
