Inquiry into Australia's Relationship with the Countries of Africa

On 21 October 2009, the Minister for Foreign Affairs, The Hon Stephen Smith MP, asked the Committee to inquire into and report on Australia's Relationship with the Countries of Africa.

On 22 November 2010, the Minister for Foreign Affairs, The Hon Kevin Rudd MP, re-referred the Inquiry into Australia's Relationship with the Countries of Africa, under the same terms of reference as the original inquiry.

A Sub-Committee was formed for this inquiry. Members are:

The Committee invites interested persons and organisations to make submissions addressing the terms of reference. Please refer to our brochure called preparing a submission for more information.

In order to facilitate electronic publishing of submissions, the Committee would prefer them to be emailed to jscfadt@aph.gov.au or sent on disk or CD-ROM to the Committee Secretariat in Microsoft Word® or Portable Document Format (PDF).
