Summary

Amends the: Fair Work Act 2009 to: give effect to state references of workplace relations matters to the Commonwealth that take effect after 1 July 2009 but on or before 1 January 2010; enable states to declare employers not to be national system employers; and enable state ministers to intervene in court proceedings and make submissions in relation to matters before Fair Work Australia; and Fair Work (Transitional Provisions and Consequential Amendments) Act 2009 and seven other Acts to transition certain employers and employees to the new national workplace relations system. Also makes technical amendments to the Fair Work (Transitional Provisions and Consequential Amendments) Act 2009.
