Australian Meat and Live-stock Industry Act 1997

Primary Industries (Excise) Levies Act 1999
to: replace the voluntary marketing and research contributions system for the red meat processor industry with a statutory levy on the slaughter of cattle, sheep and goats; allow bodies other than declared bodies to receive levy funds for research and development; and permit disaggregated levy payer information to be provided to the red meat processor industry.
