161 Report of conference
The managers for the Senate shall, when the conference has concluded, report the proceedings to the Senate.

The South Australian Parliament, on whose procedures the Senate’s standing orders were largely based, is the only remaining legislature to make regular use of conferences, having held more than 360 since 1902. In a recent unusual case, the conference managers failed to report to the Houses and the bill lapsed on prorogation.[1]
