What is the Department of the House of Representatives Alumni?

The Alumni provides former staff with an opportunity to keep in touch with developments in the department. The aim is to foster continuing relationships between former and current staff. This will be done through providing opportunities to:

  • maintain professional knowledge;
  • share expertise;
  • mentor colleagues;
  • maintain contact with friends and colleagues through social events and the alumni network; and
  • access some short-term employment opportunities.

How do I join the Department of the House of Representatives Alumni?

Former and retired Department of the House of Representatives employees can join the Alumni by downloading and completing the attachment below and sending it through to alumni.reps@aph.gov.au.

Your details will then be authenticated and transferred to the Alumni database. As an Alumni member, you will receive a regular eNewsletter to keep you up to date with news, updates and social events.
