Parliamentarians’ Expenditure on Entitlements

The Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) prepares reports on expenditure against entitlements accessed by Parliamentarians, former Parliamentarians and surviving spouses, in accordance with the relevant legislation.

  • Parliamentarians’ Expenditure on Entitlements paid by the Department of Parliamentary Services. This report includes expenditure, and adjustments, of telecommunication entitlements for mobile devices, data services and multifunction printer lease costs for Parliamentarians during the relevant six-month period.
  • Former Prime Ministers' Expenditure on Entitlements paid by the Department of Parliamentary Services. This reports includes expenditure, and adjustments, of telecommunication entitlements for mobile devices, data services and multifunction printer lease costs during the relevant six-month period. In the case of surviving spouses, reports appear under the name of the former Prime Minister.

These reports are compiled by DPS and are published on the APH website every six months.

Parliamentarians are asked to validate that their telecommunication entitlements for mobile and data usage was in accordance with the provisions legislated for each respective entitlement.
