Inquiry into the 2001 Federal Election

In May 2002 the Special Minister of State, Senator the Hon Eric Abetz, referred this inquiry with the following terms of reference:

That the Joint Standing Committee on Electoral Matters inquire into and report on all aspects of the conduct of the 2001 Federal Election and matters related thereto.

The inquiry was advertised in all national papers on 25 May 2002. Closing date for all submissions is Friday, 5 July 2002.
