About the tour

Join us to celebrate Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s historic Platinum Jubilee with an exclusive tour of representations of the Queen in the Australian Parliament House art collection.

Hear the stories behind Sir William Dargie’s ‘Wattle Queen’ and the statue of Queen Elizabeth II in the Queen’s Terrace Café. You’ll also see the Queen represented in art throughout Australian history at the opening of parliaments in 1954 and 1974 and the opening of Australian Parliament House in 1988.

Choose to begin or end your experience with a high tea fit for a Queen. Our high tea celebrates this historic milestone, featuring wattle-themed flavours inspired by Sir William Dargie's 'Wattle Queen' portrait.
