Activities at Australian Parliament House following the passing of His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh.
Flags at Australian Parliament House will today be flown at half-mast from sunrise to sunset as a mark of respect and mourning following the death of His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh.
A 41-gun salute by the Australian Defence Force will take place on the forecourt of Australian Parliament House at 5pm today. Members of the public can watch the salute from the forecourt and Great Verandah.
Messages of condolence can be placed in the online condolence book on the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet website.
Prince Philip visited Australia more than 20 times, including for the opening of Australian Parliament House in 1988.
