About the exhibition

An exhibition celebrating new acquisitions for the Parliament House Art Collections (APHAC) is now on display in the Presiding Officers’ Exhibition Area.

Containing 25 works of art in various mediums, New Acquisitions: contemporary identity and land highlights a key collecting priority of the APHAC, ‘to reflect aspects of Australian life, landscape and our pluralist society.’

It is the first-time new works in the collection have been displayed to the public since 2016. The exhibition is free for all visitors to Parliament House and can be viewed on its own or as part of a tour.
