The Giving Tree in the Marble Foyer of Parliament House

With the festive season around the corner, Parliament House will be decking the halls with Christmas cheer. On Monday 26 November at 10.30am, the Speaker of the House of Representatives the Hon Tony Smith MP, and the President of the Senate, Senator the Hon Scott Ryan, launched the 2018 Christmas program by lighting the Parliament House Giving Tree. The talented youngsters from Harrison Senior Choir filled the Marble Foyer with their melodic voices.

The beneficiaries of this year’s Giving Tree are Drought Angels and the Australian Indigenous Education Foundation (AIEF). To donate online please click on the following links Drought Angels and Australian Indigenous Education Foundation

The program also includes a variety of delightful school choir performances throughout the Christmas season, please see details below on performance dates and times.
