Interim Report
Pursuant to standing order 38(7), I present an interim report on the provisions of the Tax Laws Amendment (2006 Measures No. 4) Bill 2006.
The Senate referred this bill to the Committee on 16 August 2006, for report on 31 August 2006. The Committee advertised the inquiry and is awaiting submissions. Before finalising consideration of the bill and presenting a final report to the Senate, the Committee will take evidence at a public hearing on 4 September, in Canberra.
The Committee intends to table its final report to the Senate on the bill on 6 September 2006.
