Review of the Griffin Legacy Amendments

The committee will conduct a roundtable public hearing next month on the Griffin Legacy Amendments to the National Capital Plan for Canberra.

The hearing will be held on Friday, 23 February 2007 in Committee Room 1R1, Parliament House, Canberra.

The committee will review:

• Amendment 56, The Griffin Legacy – Principles and Policies;

• Amendment 59, City Hill Precinct;

• Amendment 60, Constitution Avenue; and

• Amendment 61, West Basin.

Information about each of the amendments can be found at the website of the National Capital Authority (NCA).

Expressions of interest are sought from organisations or individuals wishing to attend the roundtable public hearing. Please telephone the Committee Secretary, Mr Stephen Boyd on 02 6277 4564 by Friday, 2 February 2007.
