Inquiry into bills referred on 24 November 2011

On 24 November 2011 the Selection Committee asked the Committee to inquire into and report on the following proposed legislation:

• the Road Safety Remuneration Bill 2011
• the Road Safety Remuneration (Consequential Amendments and Related Provisions) Bill 2011

As this is an inquiry into proposed legislation, there are no specific terms of reference other than the text of the Bills. The Bills and Explanatory Memorandums are available from the link above.

The Committee invites interested persons and organisations to make submissions addressing one or both of the proposed bills by Monday 30 January 2012. Please refer to our brochure called preparing a submission for more information.
