Inquiry into employee share ownership in Australian enterprises

On 9 March 1999 the Minister for Employment, Workplace Relations and Small Business requested the Committee to:

inquire into and report on the extent to which employee share ownership schemes have been established in Australian enterprises and the resultant effects on:
(a) workplace relations and productivity in enterprises; and
(b) the economy.

Written submissions are invited from organisations and individuals interested in placing evidence before the Committee. Submissions are to be sent to the Committee Secretariat by 30 April 1999, and are to be prepared with reference to the guidelines on making a submission.
