Pathways and Participation Opportunities for Indigenous Australians in Employment and Business

On Wednesday, 23 October 2019, the Minister for Indigenous Australians, the Hon Ken Wyatt MP, asked the Committee to inquire into and report on opportunities for employment and economic development for Indigenous Australians.

The Committee invites submissions addressing any or all of the terms of reference for the inquiry.

The Committee welcomes submissions in written, audio and/or video format. 

The Committee has launched an online survey as part of this inquiry and would like to hear from any Indigenous Australians currently employed or seeking employment, and any businesses owned by or employing Indigenous Australians.

The inquiry is temporarily suspended but will continue to accept submissions until the end of 2020.

The Committee will resume inquiry activities in November 2020 and will present its final report by 31 May 2021.
