Community Affairs Legislation Committee
Portfolios allocated: Families, Housing,
Community Services and Indigenous Affairs; Health and Ageing
The committee met from 9 am until 2.35 pm, pursuant to a
resolution of the Senate of 26 August 2008.
The committee:

called the Department of Families, Housing,
Community Services and Indigenous Affairs;

called the Department of Health and Ageing;
-
called the Department of Education, Employment
and Workplace Relations;
-
called the department and agencies of the Human
Services portfolio, including Centrelink; and
-
concluded its hearings.

It is issued this week by the Senate Table Office as a
convenient summary of each day's consideration of estimates by
Senate committees. On sitting days it provides a summary of each
