An agenda for each of the legislation committees listed below is available on the Senate webpage and will be updated as necessary.

The Senate Daily Summary will be published each day after the legislation committees meet. The Summary will give a brief overview on the progress made by each committee and the business each committee expects to consider to the next day.

Community Affairs Legislation Committee
Portfolios allocated: Family, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs; Health and Ageing

  • completed the Family, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs portfolio
  • will commence the Health and Ageing portfolio (whole of portfolio/corporate matters, outcomes 2, 3, 4, 9, 12 and 13) when it meets on Wednesday 31 May 2006 in Senate Committee Room 2S1

Economics Legislation Committee
Portfolios allocated: Industry, Tourism and Resources; Treasury

Employment, Workplace Relations and Education Legislation Committee
Portfolios allocated: Education, Science and Training; Employment and Workplace Relations
